Tolkeyen Ushuaia Hotel, Ushuaia

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and had comfortable beds with a great view of the ocean, but the thin walls let in a lot of noise from other rooms and the corridor. The service, despite the enthusiastic efforts of the wait staff, was friendly and very helpful overall but there were some unfriendly encounters. The location, on the shores of the Beagle Channel, offered beautiful views but was a bit distant from tourist attractions. The dining experience had its ups and downs with a poor morning breakfast but exceptional steaks. The facilities were decent, but there were some shambolic moments.

The location was ideal for us, as we had a rental car, close to town, restaurants, the glacier, and Tierra del Fuego National Park. The dining experience was modest and tasty, although with limited options. Overall, a great value for money stay with a few minor drawbacks.
